Pcp car with clutch failure
have a Ford 2 years into a PCP agreement.
The vehicle suffered a major clutch failure and has been with the main Ford dealership since Thursday 30th April.
After the clutch repair, the car then became unable to go into gear, and it is now not starting at all, this has all been relayed to me by the garage, they asked me if i had a mobiliser on the car (which I don't).
These new faults occurred after the repair attempt. Does anyone know where I stand with regard to the PCP agreement? I am worried the car won't be able to start again and the garage don't seem very hopeful either for some reason.
I have no issue with paying for the clutch but the mileage is very low on the car (under 20k) but what happens if it can't be fixed? It's a 2021 car.

5yo car with just 20k… It's eminently possible to kill a clutch in that kind of mileage through being ham-footed.
If it was still under the manufacturer warranty, then if you could prove that the failure was manufacturing rather than wear, it might be covered - but since that's going to have expired several years ago…
I can't see how a failure to start will be linked to clutch wear.0 -
In what respect?
How much was the car when you bought it?
