You could send an LBA to the other insurer for loss of amenity and interest on the extra insurance costs, but I'm not sure how it works if your own insurance is dealing with it.

NAS is simply a platform for police forces to share their ANPR data and list of vehicles being looked for with each other. It is far from all the ANPR cameras in the country.
The easiest way for you to get what's held would be to do a Data Subject Access Request the link says how to do it but given they only hold records for 12 months you are now beyond the window
