It would be fair to have another tier of platform fee to enable this, if there was sufficient demand. I don't think I'd want to cross-subsidise customers who want it. Nor do I want my charges hiked to cover the additional cost of such frills.

It might be annoying, but since the most logical process is to align with the tax month it couldn't really be any different. Similarly, if you want to withdraw from a SIPP under a cumulative tax code you need to wait until the 6th of the month for one-twelfth of your annual allowance to be taken into account.

I am implementing this straight away! Rather than reinvesting my gilt coupons twice a year, they can trickle in to my chosen fund every month. Saving £3.00 in fees just made my day!

This, along with the fee waiver for 12 months on Dodl, seems like they are generally way more awake to the market reality than HL.
