St James Place

My previous adviser left St James Place and we switched fees off.

Another St James Place form PFP Wealth from Wakefield has written to me and my wife twice and have been calling us.

It all seems very pushy.

I'm surprised your St James Place Financial Advisor was able to take their clients with them. Or maybe they weren't supposed to, which is why you're being contacted now.

Anyway, if you want a thread about how SJP are very expensive then you've certainly come to the right place. If you want to discuss something else then I suggest giving us more of a steer on what you want to talk about.

What do you expect? They are salesmen.

Although the best salespeople are not pushy, you hardly realise you are being sold to.

  • More concerned about then passing our details to another firm and receiving calls from someone we dont know.

Have quite a pot of money with them. They seem more concerned with getting me to put fees back on.

Thankfully we shall be moving our funds.

They haven't. They are reps of SJP. Therefore, they can access the information. The fact they allow individual member firms to run in their own name doesn't remove the fact that you are a customer of St James Place, and therefore St James Place staff and representatives have access to your data.
