Civil Enforcement PCN LBA from 3 years ago.

Hi, I've received this PCN from well over 3 years ago.

This is the first letter I've received, I did move house around the same time, but made sure all my details were all updated.

On the Civil Enforcement website it doesn't show any pictures and it says I can't appeal it because it's outside the given time frame.

How screwed am I? £170 is going to ruin my budget.

You're not going to pay. You might write to them by snail mail and ask for copies of the correspondence they never sent you. And to tell the to erase any address except the one they are currently using.

Then you wait until they arrange for a court letter to be sent which you respond to with your argument for why you don't owe them anything. There's a template for most situations available here on the board on the posts at the top. Come back for help at that point should you need some. And come back for moral support whenever.

You aren't screwed and will never pay. Just respond* per post 2 of the NEWBIES thread (which inclydes requiring CEL to erase the old address), await the Claim Form then defend using the Chan & Akande bespoke defence linked in the Template Defence.

*obviously change 'your client' to CEL throughout the LBC reply as this isn't a third party solicitor LBC.
