PA1P Form - Grant of Probate
Hello,
I am completing form PA1P - application for Grant of Probate.
A couple of the questions state "Only answer this question if no executor to the will is applying". I am executor. This sentence is so close physically on the page to the next question, I am not sure if it relates to the question above or below.
The questions are 2.12 and 3.4.
Can anyone offer any advice here please?
Many thanks.

Spacing is more obvious on this version. It relates to the questions below not above.
Looking at the logic as to why there is the differentiation between when there is or isn't an executor.
Adoption (2.13) is relevant if no executor as it determines the order in which relatives can apply for probate
And (3.5) if there is someone under 18 years old who receives a gift in the will or a codicil then two applicants are required if there is no executor (but not if there is an executor) hence why the response is only needed if there is no named executor.
Are you required to fill in a paper application because of the circumstances? If not the online electronic application is usually much easier and is generally processed more quickly.
