Fields Data Recovery
Anyone had any recent dealings with Fields recently? Or any other recovery companies?
Need to get primary HDD recovered as sod's law said my backup drive decided to go at the same time ☹️ Looks like PCB failure rather than platters and heads, flipping thing is dead as a doornail...
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

I haven't used one personally, but last time I had a HDD PCB fail, I looked on eBay for an identical model (physical and firmware) and did the swap myself. It was really quite easy.
• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.2 -

I had a HDD failure a few years ago and took it to a company to attempt recovery. After keeping it for ages they said the drive was so old they couldn't source like for like drive.
Took me less than five minutes to find one on eBay.
Sadly the damaged drive was properly Donald Ducked and I only managed to coax a few bits and pieces from it.
I now have back ups of back ups.
Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
I found one!!! So I may fix the drive for £8.50 fingers crossed 😁
