IAS appeal - Smart parking - disabled driver

hello

Last month I visited a car park in Wilmslow (Spring St Multi Story) and parked in a marked disabled bay with my blue badge clearly showing.

I checked the parking signs which was a council run sign saying blue badge holders park for free. I displayed my badge and went into town

A week later I received this parking charge letter

I appealed this on the basis I am disabled and have a blue badge clearly showing in the window and mentioned the disability equality act.

I received a response to that saying the car parking charge is correct as I parked ina. Permit area

in order to see this I would of had to get out my car as the sign was behind my car. The one higher up with the white car int eh background noise we high up (who looks up at signs when parking!)

I tried to do a further appeal on IAS

the charge cannot be found and now I am confused what to do.

I would also like some advice if I could successfully appeal this or do I pay the £60 reduced feee

I have read on other forums on here that specific car park has no license to issue car parking charges. However this was with POPPLA appeals not sure if this is relevant now they use this IAS?

thank you

"I would also like some advice if I could successfully appeal this or do I pay the £60 reduced fee".

You won't be doing either! Nobody pays.

Wait for DCB Legal to send a LBC as per post 2 of the NEWBIES thread because they ALWAYS discontinue defended claims in the end.

Sit it out. Come back when you get the Claim Form from DCB Legal, which you want!

Kindly don't show us the laughable DR Plus and DCB Ltd £170 threatograms - these are already shown in pictures in post 4 of the NEWBIES thread (which we won't link. See my signature for how to get there).

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
