Tax year income assessment
My daughter is starting uni this september 2026. They will look at tax year 2024-2025. My earnings have dropped dramatically after this so I am completing a current tax year income assessment form for 2026-2027 - where I have to guess how much I might earn (self-employed so difficult). Do they look at 2025-2026? Or should I send them a report from my accounting software as I have not submitted to HMRC.

Hi @Zippora, welcome to the forum.
I would supply whatever they ask for and nothing more. If they want further information they will ask.
