Will a payment to an old bank account redirect through two switches?
Work have paid an expenses claim, but they've randomly chosen an old bank account rather than the one currently used for salary...
I switched out of that account about 18 months ago, and then switched that account a few months ago. All using CASS.
I know that payments to old accounts will be redirected to a new account. My question is, given the two switches, will it then redirect again?
Or do I need to try and navigate my work's HR labyrinth to get them to try and recall the payment?
Thank you!

Redirection is handled via a central BACS engine, so should happily accommodate multiple switches - it's not as if the money has to visit the middle one(s) as such.

Okay great thanks. I'll wait a few days and hopefully it pops up
