Beware Virgin Media cold calling!!
A rep from Virgin cold called my vulnerable and partially deaf 88 year old mother today and changed her landline over. The agent entered the house, accessed her computer and then got her to hand over her debit card so he could gain her account details.
(Within the first few words of conversation it would have been obvious to the agent that she would have been confused).
Spent the rest of the evening web chatting Virgin, and called the "agent" to express my disgust and finally managed to get them to cancel it.
Really sharp practice IMHO!!…will be putting a formal complaint in, but just a heads up for anybody else.
