Now if they could also boost the Premium Bonds a bit!

A welcome boost, but I think for even basic rate tax payers, gilts from 1.2-5yrs work out better, and have the same guarantee, plus you can sell them any time if you really need to. For monthly income NS&I is a good option though.

My current Nsandi bond is expiring, and all they are offering me is 4.02%.
