eBay scam on BBC's "Rip Off Britain"
Today's episode of Rip Off Britain on BBC1 included a reasonably complex scam, involving a scammer buying a drum kit, getting it delivered to another eBayer (to whom he had sold a drum kit) and claiming SNAD.
Scammer got a full refund from eBay and didn't have to return the kit.
It did sound to me as if neither of the scammed people had followed eBay's processes (the scammed Seller didn't appear to have disputed the SNAD claim and the scammed Buyer stated that he had paid £80 to return a SNAD item).
It's Series 18 Episode 2, starts just after 29 minutes into the programme, and is available on iPlayer (https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m002vqr3/rip-off-britain-series-18-2-fake-loan-repayments-coming-off-my-wages?seriesId=unsliced&page=1).

Both accounts will probably have a marker on then for potential fraud so not something they are going to repeat forever.
I wouldn't have thought ebay would just cancel a sale as no fault if the value was anything substantial. One of those where
