CCJ Issued to old address, unsure how to proceed
Morning guys,
Apologies, am new to the thread so let me know if this has been answered elsewhere.
On 12/07/2025, I parked at a Euro Car Parks spot. I entered my reg, paid the £20 for 24 hours parking, displayed my ticket and left before time was up. Then received a fine to my current address for having not paid. I sent ECP my proof of payment, along with my display ticket, which they said was dismissed because there must have been a "major keying error".
After a google, my plan was to just ignore any further letters. However, today I was sent a Facebook message from someone who lives at my old address, where several letters have been sent, addressed to me.
- One from DCBL dated 27/11/25, final reminder letter.
- Another from DCBL dated 12/12/25, letter of claim.
- One from The County Court dated 13/02/26, Judgement for Claimant (in default)
- Another from DCBL dated 23/03/2026, Notice of Debt Recovery - Unpaid CCJ
I think its very strange that all following letters have been addressed to my previous address, despite them clearly having my current address on record, as they sent the first letter there!
Obviously I don't want to pay these crooks a penny, but from what I gather, a CCJ isn't something to be ignored. Does anyone have any advice with how to proceed?

are you sure that they both relate to the same PCN? It seems to me that's awfully quick the one notice to go from rejected appeal to court.
you need to look at the sticky about set-aside, as part of these you need to find out exactly what claim was taken to court.

Please come back so we can help you set aside the CCJ.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
