I need to replace the tyres on my Toyota Aygo.

I drive about 4,000 miles per annum, mostly on city roads/motorways. What should I be looking for/any recommendations?

Something from a decent mid-range known brand.

For an Aygo, there'll be very little price difference to the cheap and nasty Chinese ditchfinders, but a huge difference to stopping distance when it comes to braking hard in the rain when some numpty steps out in front of you.

What size are they?

The £65 Nankangs look to be the best of the cheapies there.
If your username is reflective of your location, I'd strongly consider the £75 Kumho all-seasons.

Other brands you may find under £100 and are decent mid-range tyres are nexen, Nokian, Toyo, Uniroyal, Vredestein, Yokohama. But the value choice are the Falkens

Agree with having a look at all seasons, even for a low powered low mileage vehicle they do improve take off on wet and slippery roads. Toyo, Khumo, Vredestein are all mid range brands I'd happily consider.

Are you replacing all 4? Saving £100 on Blackcircles prices may make a one-hour journey worth doing.
