Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The prize draw is organised by Experience Sussex. The prize is provided by The View Hotel.

2. Eligibility

• Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
• Entrants must be able to travel to and from the prize location at their own expense
• Employees of Experience Sussex or the participating businesses and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

3. Competition Period

• Opens: 11:00 on 20th April 2026
• Closes: 11:59 on 24th May 2026
• Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

• Enter via the form on the Experience Sussex website.
• Only one entry per person is permitted.

5. Prizes

One winner will win a 2 night Bed & Breakfast stay at The View hotel plus an experience.

Prize details:

The prize consists of a two night bed and breakfast stay for two people sharing a King Balcony Room at The View Hotel Eastbourne, plus one experience for two, either a Seven Sisters boat trip or theatre tickets up to the value of £100. The prize must be taken and completed by 15th December 2026.

Further information regarding the prize:

All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation and must be made in advance directly with the hotel. The prize is not valid during bank holidays, school holidays, Airbourne dates or the Christmas and New Year period.

The prize is non transferable, non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative. It does not include travel, parking, additional meals, drinks or any other extras not explicitly stated. The experience element is subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the third party provider.

The View Hotel Eastbourne reserves the right to amend or withdraw the prize in exceptional circumstances beyond its reasonable control, and where necessary substitute with a prize of equal or greater value.

• This prize bundle (hotel stay plus experience of winners choice) will be assigned at random to a winner and the is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
• The prize has no cash value.
• If the winner is unable to take the prize within the stated validity period, the prize will be forfeited.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
• Winner will be notified via email on Tuesday 28th May.
• If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner and revoke the original winner.

7. Data Protection

• Personal data (name and email address) will be collected solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw, including contacting the winner.
• Marketing communications from Experience Sussex and/or The View Hotel will only be sent where entrants have explicitly opted in via separate tick boxes on the entry form. Entry into the prize draw is not conditional on consenting to marketing.
