Britannia Parking - Waitrose Fine (letter delivered after 14 days, not sure if is non-PoFA)
Hi, I've received the following (attached) a car being parked in Waitrose for over the 2 hour limit.
It came through my door last week (I think Wednesday or Thursday, can't remember - either way, at any point last week would be over the 2 week limit I'd have to pay half the fine etc).
I have a receipt for buying something from Waitrose that time (after 2 hours) and using the car park, so will be going over in the next couple of hours to see if I can get this cancelled, but if not I'm wondering if there's anything I can do RE this letter arriving late? It also mentions 'the motorist' not the keeper etc, not sure if this has any bearing to Non-PoFA (I'm not well versed in this!)
As always, any help greatly appreciated, thanks!

Definitely Not a fine, just an invoice from a private parking company, a PCN
Your best option here is plan A in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum
A strong complaint to the business or landlord or landowner, to get it cancelled ASAP
You failed to post a redacted picture of the front of the pcn, with all dates and times showing
Compare your pcn to the examples by coupon mad in the newbies sticky thread in announcements

Thank you for the reply! I will be going to Waitrose shortly with my receipt to see what I can do. I did try and upload both sides but it only seemed to upload one, I have posted a comment with the other side of the letter. I've redacted but I'm not sure if I've done that correctly.
Thanks

Non-POFA worded, so it's easy.
Put this in as the keeper's appeal:
As your Parking Charge Notice does not comply with the requirements of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (Schedule 4), you are, in law, unable to hold the registered keeper of the vehicle liable for the parking charge. I suggest therefore that you contact the driver.
There will be no admissions as to who was driving, and no assumptions can be drawn. As there is no legal requirement placed on the registered keeper to identify the driver, I will not be doing so but I am fully aware that I can't be held liable. Send me a POPLA Code or cancel the PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you so much! The customer service guy at Waitrose has requested that it be cancelled on their end, but I will also submit an appeal using your keeper's appeal spiel as above, if you think that is worth it as well? Imagine it can't do any harm?

Yes and add that Waitys is cancelling it.
