Registering IPD Trust
Hi all,
As some of you may remember my mother left her half of her house to me in an IPD. The other half already belonged to my brother.
The trust is just the two of us and for him to have life interest in my half (including investing my half if it is sold) until he dies.
I find the solicitor did not register the trust - we are ok on time as still have 6 months. (They did however do the “Form A” restriction on the house title)
I see the forms on HMRC but which of us can register it - ''Register your trust online if you’re a trustee.'' ??
Is it me or him? (Although I will have to do it on his behalf as he has no access to nor no willingness to do it)
Many thanks.

You are clearly the lead trustee, the onus is on you.
