Unison Dental Plan - does anyone recommend?
Hello 🙂
Firstly, wasn't sure which category to put this in! Technically not an insurance policy but kind of acts like one….? (Please feel free to point out if there is a better category to post this in!)
Does anyone have this? Have you claimed? Is it worth it?!
I have a lot of dental work to do so if it's as good as it sounds it could be a Godsend.
Thanks for any helpful input.

This is from the FAQ:
I know I need some treatment now; will it be covered when I join?
>
No. We only cover new Dental conditions that occur after joining
so that work you believe you need may not be covered.

I’ve not been to a dentist for more than 2 years. Can I join the plan?>
Yes - however, you will need to see a dentist and get any recommended treatments completed at your own expense initially. Claims for future visits and treatments can then be covered by your plan.

There are some cash plans that will cover pre-existing conditions however a single event claimed will always be less than the annual premiums so unless you end up need to make a second claim in the year you will be out of pocket.
