Is your car going to be fixed? Presumably at your own expense. Or if it's a write off can you find yourself a very cheap runabout?
I'm assuming that the accident was your fault otherwise the bus's insurance should be providing some assistance.
It's unfortunate that insurance pricing is such that relatively new drivers have to get the most pared down policies possible.
Any chance a work colleague would like to carshare? Takes a bit of coordinating but I've found this helpful in the past.

how far away is Work? Public transport or cycle?

Whose fault was the accident?
If it was your fault then you are out of luck and your options are basically to buy, beg, borrow or steal a replacement car asap. Or use a garage which will provide you with a courtesy car while they repair yours (at your own expense).
If it was the bus driver's fault (and you can prove it, or he admits it) then you might have some more options.

Why would you think you would get a "courtesy car" with 3rd party?
As you are only covering 3rd party costs in any accident.
If it was buses fault, they you would be looking at them for any help.
Your policy doc's would detail what your ins covers in any event. One reason to read them 👍

If you're 19 then it appears you joined this forum when you were, at most, 8 years old, and already had a mortgage at that point…
