Mediation call- DCB Legal/ Euro car Parks

Hi all. I've been following the outlined steps and been sent a confirmation of the mediation call date.

Has anyone got some help for summarizing the defense that I submitted? I just used the defense that was recommended on the previous threads.

Also, what is the process after the mediation call, will that be the end of it..?

Secondly, I was also wondering if someone could help with advice for removing CCJ from credit file. We just ignored the previous letters for a parking fine and ended up with a CCJ but now looking to getting a mortgage it is very unhelpful having it there! It was in March 2024 so still very much active.

Many thanks if someone is able to assist! Date of the mediation call is June so a little while to go yet.

Read this recent summary about the mediation stage and beyond

Its explained in the steps in the defence template thread in announcements too

You definitely do not discuss the case at mediation, only a monetary settlement, or not, usually not

the beyond is a also covered in post 2 in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum

CCJ advice is in the newbies sticky thread in announcements, but courts don't like approving credit cleansing

But there's no prep needed; you don't summarise or talk about your defence at Mediation call. Stop reading the Mediation email, it is irrelevant to parking cases.

Read the advice in the 8 steps you were following. In the Template Defence thread.

Re the CCJ you need to start anew thread about that one and we'll help. We expect you already know a bit about what to do from the CCJ set aside section of post 2 of NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST.

Presumably the question about mediation is a different case to the set-aside one!
