Guild multi tool
Does anyone know which replacement blades are compatible with this item? I can't find Guild blades anywhere. It's to cut metal (an old rusted iron panel) so will need something heavy duty.

Is it this tool?

The blades are pretty standard regardless of brand of blades or tool.
If in doubt, pop in to Screwfix or Toolstation with the multitool, and try a few blades.
But cast iron can be a tricky material to cut - It often has a very hard skin which will destroy most blades. Once through the skin, cast iron is pretty soft. That said, you may well find that the rust has taken off the hard skin.

Suggest you also buy a multitool blade sharpener, as the blades will get blunt cutting through cast iron

Borrow an angle grinder. A multi tool is the wrong tool for the job but an angle grinder will go through it like the proverbial….

Ho Hum
I have a Worx multitool
The Smart blades from toolstation appear to fit but do not grip properly which makes them completely useless
By far the best blades that I have found are Saxon
Bosch work but are far more expensive from The sheds

When you say Saxon I think you might mean Saxton?

Thanks for replies. I think I'll borrow an angle grinder from someone as I think the multitool will cause bits of metal to fly about.

I've used a sabre saw in the past for hacking through pipes (used to do it with a 12" hacksaw too).
Angle grinders can be very dangerous and you MUST use eye protection. Also check the date of the cutting disk - There should be an expiration date on the metal ring. Don't use if it is expired. And make sure the disk is running true.

Eye protection is a minimum. Proper face protection is better. Discs can shatter.
