Selling electronic goods (Vinted)
I know you can get shift buyers anywhere but for any of you reading this that have sold (AND POSTED) electronic goods online, is yous experience generally good or have you had any horrors?
I've sold a fairly wide range of things as I've been clearing the house out but generally my rule has been no electronics to be posted, because I don't trust the other person basically. Especially on something like eBay where the buyer holds all the cards. I just think they're a high risk item.
Currently have something for sale on marketplace but it's not really generated any interest, even though it's pretty much brand new.
Considering trying my luck with Vinted but I'm only new to it this week & from what I can see it's postage only.

For anything even slightly expensive I’d choose eBay over Vinted any time. For anything cheap I’d choose Vinted.

I've tried selling electrical items on vinted, didn't try for long, I just stick to eBay, more buyers.

I think I'll stick to Marketplace & just hope for the best.
Absolutely don't trust eBay & their 'buyers are angels and never do any wrong' policy.

I would say the absolute opposite.
I have sold on both platforms for some time and have had problems with Ebay but never with Vinted. In my opinion Ebay is far too much in favour of the buyer in every case, where you have more seller protection on Vinted.
I have basically given up with Ebay these days, full of Chinese tat that you can't filter out if you are buying; full of dodgy scammers if you are selling……you're hit either way!

Some people recommend CEX or similar who have shops on the high street for electronic items. You might get a slightly lower price, but you are paid there and then with no potential posting problems.
