Did the now-defunct Lending Standards Board provide anything useful and if so, who took that on?

I had never heard of the Lending Standards Board (LSB) until I read about them in a Santander T&C leaflet, which mentioned that they were leaving the LSB in July 2024. So I looked them up and found it was closed down last year, in October 2025.
I read that they were focused mainly on small companies, but did they ever do anything for end consumers? If so, did anybody taken up their baton?
(P.S. this is just a general curiosity - I don't any particular need for them)
