I can't help what should or should not happen. I'm simply stating person experience, as was the other person who commented. I'm not talking about shards of glass, I am referring to the small pieces of toughened glass.

The OP hasn't been back for a couple of days so hopefully they got sorted out wit a new roof unit and new laminate flooring to replace the damaged flooring.
