Morning all, thanks @Gers for starting us off.
It's another dry and sunny day here but still chilly, thanks to the wind. It's supposed to be nothing more than a gentle breeze but it's an easterly so 'feels like' temperatures will be lucky to get into double figures. Still, it's a good drying day and I have a towels wash to go out soon when the WM has finished.
Yesterday I had a text advising me to log in to my NHS account to read an important message. Easier said than done as it doesn't seem to want to recognise either my email address or password, so today's highlight will be sorting that out. These systems are great when they work but a PITA when they don't! I suspect it's a just a reminder to make a surgery appointment for an annual review. Tea tonight is h/m fish pie with mushy peas. And that's about my day! Nothing exciting, just plodding along.
@Ruby - So sorry to hear O's mum is still making waves, I hope your meetings today help put a stop to that.
Have a good day all and take care. I hope the sleepless ones manage to have a better night. X
Be kind to others and to yourself too.9 -
Hello everyone
I've been down to mam and dads house this morning to do some sorting…I'm concentrating on making up plastic boxes of photos and bits mam will enjoy looking through and will fit in the bottom of her wardrobe, by bits I mean anything from the receipt from her wedding flowers to Christmas cards my brother and myself made at school, which I had never seen. I've got a box ready I'll take down today. I need to pop into town first to the library, a lady called at the care home a few weeks ago, I'm assuming a volunteer from the library service, and she was to take mam books once a month. There was a note when I came back from holiday to say mam can't have any until she takes one back, which I can't find, but I suspect it's the one she gave to the charity shop at some point…..
DD is dropping little one off after school and she'll come back up home with me for tea….same as you Remmie southern fried chicken
Must dash for the bus x
