Around 22,000 weekend students will now be able to pay back living loans under their original terms, as the Government has U-turned on a decision to demand repayment sooner. I suspect they U-turned on that decision because they realised that the money could not be repaid by taking it direct from income like normal student loans & many would be able to fight it because the loans would not normally be granted as they would be unaffordable.
