Cynergy 1Yr Fixed Bond Maturity Interest Query

My bond matured today and the account shows the initial amount invested however it doesn't show the interest which should have been added. I've seen previous posts/comments on here which says that the interest doesn't usually get added until 7pm sometimes next day. Is this correct?

I wanted to transfer it to a regular access account today (with Cynergy) and close the bond account however i'm reluctant to do this until I see the interest added. I did receive an email this morning confirming the maturity amount which included the interest?!

I've never exeperienced an account where the full balance with interest doesn't show on the date of maturity - most odd🤨

I have experienced it fairly regularly, if fact including today where I have a Coventry account mature today but no interest has shown yet online, it will be shown tomorrow I suspect.

It often depends on where the "time of maturity" is regarded by the savings group as 00:01hrs on maturity day or whether it is 23:59hrs on that day.

As per the above I've found it varies wildly between groups as to whether things happen on the day of maturity or the day after.
