Civil Enforcement Limited
Hi all. Has anyone else dealt with these crooks? Helped my mum appeal on their website as her car broke down in a KFC car park and they gave her a PCN for staying too long.
Appealed on their website and even then the appeals procedure had no text box to write anything and was purely images/documents that you could upload.
My mum got a confirmation email after the appeal was submitted but is still receiving the usual bs these crooks send.
Wanted to ask if anyone has a direct email for them. Nothing on their website and the number they have put on Google is incorrect.
Thank you.

CEL are extremely well known on this forum and have been for over 14 years !
Check the complaints link via the BPA AOS members list on the BPA website

What did KFC say when you complained that their contractors were hounding you?

They're obliged to reduce the charge to £20 fo breakdowns due to being members of their trade body.
I'd keep quiet and simply keep the fact in your back pocket should they ever make a court claim.
But try KFC (or the franchisee).2 -
Thank you, I will have a look

Not tried going direct to them yet, however, based on past experiences with myself usually no luck when trying to go to the chain themselves, as they essentially say it’s between you and parking company

That’s interesting to know, thank you. However, £20 is still a lot no? Nobody expects their car to break down + the wait time for AA to arrive?

I wouldn't pay CEL £20. 🙃
You can ignore it and await a claim form.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes, that’s what I had in mind. Ideally, I wanted to get in touch and tell them again, but looks like will have to wait for a claim form if they bother with it
