C1 Help please- Box 2 and also Sasine entry
I am trying to complete the C1 for my step dad's estate.
I seem to have a million questions and the guidance isn't helping much.
I am unsure of the wording to use in Page 2, box 2.
Executors are myself, my half brother (deceased's son) and the solicitor who drew up the will. Brother and I are equal and only beneficiaries. We intend to ask the solicitor to resign as executor as they will only remain if they are to do full executory, and we really can't afford to do that.
I can paste in how I think it should be from my understanding of other threads if helpful.
Second question is because house is on sasines not online land register. I have the search sheet but not sure how to describe it in the first part on the inventory, do I use all the dispositions (original builder to previous owner, then previous owner to mum and dad (mum predeceased Dad and there is a survivorship mentioned in that disposition). Or just the first, or just the 2nd ?
Grateful for any help

Declaration
Resignation is often used where someone has to an extent acted as executor. Otherwise might be a ‘declinature’.
If you are the declarant, para 2 might say as below. Though any name or address differences would also require to be referenced. And the example assumes you have the original will and that the solicitor is named as an individual.
That I am
along with [full name and address] the executor nominate of the deceased conform to his will dated the [date] and that I have never been married to or in a civil partnership with the deceased and that the said [full name] is the son of the deceased. [name/describe solicitor as in will] who is also appointed executor in said will has declined the appointment conform to letter of declinature dated the [date]. Said will and said letter of declinature are herewith exhibited, docquetted and signed as relative hereto.
House
Single disposition such as
House - Address - postcode
the subjects described in the disposition by Douglas Ross in favour of James Black Smith and Joan Smith spouses and the survivor dated the fourth of June 1965 and recorded in the General Register of Sasines (Perth) on the seventh of August 1965

Thank you so much.
I hope this is my final question for now, I wonder if the bank accounts, which are held at a branch that is now closed need to be listed as estate in England rather than Scotland. The sort code returns an English address (as did the letter from them listing the balances), it is TSB bank
Not just a sucker for sweeties..:o0 -
TSB shows a registered office in Edinburgh. On that basis I would include under moveable estate in Scotland.
