Parking fine fight back
Hi,
I'm new to this thread but have been reading a lot of the parking fine forums and heeding the advice.
I received a ticket from a well known store in Aldi's and I've followed up to the point where I have now received a LOC, the Popla appeal failed previously as it was closed before 1 day before it was supposed to expire, and they chose to ignore the stores requests to have the ticket squashed.
I'm yet to reply to the LOC which is not an issue, I will do that.
My questions is around the owner of the vehicle being in my mothers name but she was not driving at the time, she is fairly old and I do not want her involved with the stress, so I have been running with this. If it does end up in court can I fight this on her behalf or will it need to be her that attends should we need to go to court?
Some advice on this would be appreciated.
Regards,

Definitely Not a fine, just an invoice
If a Money Claim N1SDT pack is issued to the Registered Keeper, then she must defend it as keeper, even if it goes to a court hearing , where she should attend
Or, currently she can throw the driver under the bus and they have to defend the pcn and any future court claim, which has been the case ever since the pcn was issued months or years ago !
That option means that the driver is possibly in court in due course
You should decide what needs doing ASAP, but firstly, name the private parking company claimant involved and name any lawyers involved too
Currently, you are a stranger to the case, so Currently everything must be done in her name, not yours

Thank you for the feedback
It was UK Parking control and it was DCBLegal, it was me as the driver, I'm happy for her to say it was me.
I'll fight them myself, does that change the process or would it continue the same way?
I cannot let her go to court on this matter, it would not be nice for her.

The Registered Keeper needs to transfer liability to the driver by naming the driver to the parking company UKPC and also copy in DCB Legal using the info@ address as well
She does this, in writing, ASAP, TODAY if possible, with your help, giving your name and address as the driver, transferring liability under POFA 2012
