UKPC Parking Charge Carlisle

Hi all, I recently received 2 UKPC parking charges whilst unloading and loading our car whilst stopping at a hotel in Carlisle. The car park in question is right next to the hoteI and I had assumed was part of the hotel, but was infact owned by the Pub next door, which had closed down. As soon as I was informed not to park there, I moved the car to the correct car park, a 5 minute walk away.

I've read the Newbie thread on this and appealed the charges as per the recommendation and complained to the pubs current owners, which was difficult as the pub is currently closed down and changing hands.

I'm not the registered keeper but was driving but have not divulged to UKPC who was driving as recommended. We have now received an email from UKPC requesting to know who was driving. The car and owner is registered in Scotland and having read other posts on this forum I'm now unsure what to do, do I tell them the car is registered in Scotland and still refuse to identify the driver or ignore?

Many thanks.

I'd ignore UKPC anyway. I'd doubly ignore if you're in Scotland. They can't do anything.

As Above, do not reply, do not reveal who was driving either

    Ideally stop contacting them !

Or do this. Either is fine:

Point out the car is registered in Scotland and refuse to identify the driver. Tell them to cease & desist. Then cite Arkell v Pressdram.

    🤣

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
