Cardiff's dedicated literature festival for children is an exciting and fun-filled event aimed at budding bookworms from ages 3-12.

Since the first edition in 2013, the festival has sought to entertain young people and enthuse them about the magic of reading with a playful programme of family friendly authors, illustrators, and workshops.

With 25 different events, step into a world of stories and enjoy author talks, workshops, Q&As, and book signings too!

Nation Broadcasting’s Promotion 'WIN an Overnight’s Stay and tickets to The Cardiff Children's Literature Festival!' (‘Promotion’) is organised by Nation Broadcasting. The promotion will run from  16th April 2026 at 06:00am until Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 09.00 across Nation Radio Wales.

The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Competition Terms’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

Details of the Promotion:

To enter the Promotion you must enter via the entry form. 

You must select the correct answer from the multiple choice options.

Only correct entries will be counted. 

Only one entry per person will be counted. 

There will be a total of one winner.

The Prize is an overnight stay at Majestic Hotel Cardiff – Formerly Radisson Blu Cardiff - Bute Terrace, Cardiff CF10 2FL

A winner will be chosen at random from all the correct entries.  

The Prize must be redeemed for a stay on Saturday April 25th 2026. Rooms are subject to availability at the time of booking. Family of 4 ( children under 12) . Prize includes tickets for 3 events and relevant books for signings.

 

The Prize cannot be redeemed on any other date.

All prizes are non-transferrable and no cash alternative will be offered.

Prize does not include any necessary travel/transport that the winner may require to redeem their prize.

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the competition mechanic or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Terms

Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in the promotion.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative will be offered. ID such as passport or drivers’ licence to confirm name and address of winner will be required.

Names, email addresses, and/or telephone numbers will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details will be passed onto Visit Cardiff to arrange delivery of the prize. Entrants’ details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless the entrants have ticked an opt in box.
