Looks like good news for those who have a BT from 26 June 2026 you will be able to also use it for purchase.

Used the correct way then the actual BT amount won't keep decreasing if matching the min payment with a purchase.

Whilst possible I would never recommend anyone mixes purchases on a balance transfer card. If you're carrying a large balance a small mistake can end up costing an awful lot more than any benefit gained.

Much easier to keep purchases and balance transfers on separate cards to avoid any such mistakes.

Indeed - and you could have more than one card from the Lloyds family if you wanted to keep it all under one roof as it were.

Depends on how a person manages their finances. If coming from a position of not being able to fully manage then best to keep them separate. If coming from a position of fully able to manage and are looking to earn every bit of interest possible then using the new rules would be profitable.
