@Coupon-mad thanks so much again!

@Coupon-mad @patient_dream I’ve just received this response from DCB Legal.
Should I be worried? Should I do anything or just ignore now?
Thanks
Lisa

Ignore them

OP
Have you left your name showing on the DCB Legal letter?

Remove it. We never need to see their replies!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD4 -
"Failure to make payment will result in us throwing away £35 on a Claim that we fully intend to discontinue."
🤣

Sorry to Hijack the thread but it seems like these sharks are out in force at the moment.
I also had a run in with Smart Parking a few years back (end of 2022) and nievely at the time I paid the fine after I got threatening letters from Debt Recovery Plus.I have the bank transaction but I didn't keep the letters. (it was paid I thought that would be the end of it.
This morning I got a letter from DCB Legal, re: Outstanding Parking Charge (PC). Stating that I had an outstanding parking charge, balance of £170. at the same location as the incident in 2022. the PC number however doesnt match what I could find on the original, and I know for a fact that I've never darkened that car parks door since then. Is there a chance this is unrelated and total bullcrap?
Also the new letter, states the balance and the location, but there is zero information on the vehicle or the date/time of the alleged incident so I've no idea if this is the old one being regurgitated or something else. I've changed vehicle twice since then.
All of the above happened in Scotland and I still live here. I noticed that Coupon-mad stated that DCB Legal don't litigate in Scotland so can I just ignore this in its entirety?
Also as per the Newbies thread, Complaining to the landowner won't get very far, the carpark as far as I'm aware isn't even operated by Smart Parking anymore and has been taken back by the council. (partially due to the number of complaints I believe)
Thanks very much!

If you are in Scotland and its for one pcn, Ignore DCB LEGAL and their letters
A popular site was Kinnoull St, Perth

Kinnoull street… How did you guess! 🤣
Thanks for the advice, I'll ignore it for now, just seems weird given that the PCN doesnt match the original, and no information whatsoever on when it was supposed to have happened.
