@Soontobeoap, you need a treat every now and again, only one life!
I decided to go to F.F today just to get the job done, 15 tins of tomatoes, 2 utterly butterly’s, a treat pizza for lunch and 6 x 18 loo rolls, with my £2 off voucher, totalled £26.49
Whilst I was in the vacinity, I called in to Aldi and bought their cling film as it is one I like £2.39 and bread and salt bought in Asda on Saturday £1.91
Weeks total £30.79
May so far £179.65
Have a great week everyone

Afternoon all,
I have numerous spends to declare. Totalling £137.68 😱.
Out of this amount £39.11 was from the bulk fund, l brought washing tabs, conditioner, toiletries, and 2 x coffee and 2 x flora while they were both on offer.
Another £40.81 was spent on meat and dairy products and the balance of £57.76 was on fruit, veg, salad snacks and tinned items.
I have at least got all the fundamentals for the rest of the months meals. But with next week been a school holiday it could all go to pot. Particularly if we get the lovely weather 🌞 BBQ's and ice creams are more expensive then a traditional meal.

Good Morning GC'rs
Back from my 'weekly' shop 😕 I only went to leedle and sains today. No veg boxes in either store. Leedle was deserted, and sains was quiet. I don't know if folk have pootled off on hols, or whether leedle is losing it's fan base.
I spent £13.85 in leedle - i had only activated 2 'coupons' that may have been of use to me, but i didn't use the 15% off asparagus, as leedle had decided (in their wisdom), that as we're coming to the end of the British Asparagus season, they would put the price of their 125g bundle UP to £1.75, from last week's £1.49. Which meant the 15% discount math, didn't math…….. Clearly they have gone like all other retail outlets and think their customers stoopid.
I spent more in sains, more because they have the yoghurt i buy on special offer, so I bought it there rather than elsewhere, and they had 3for2 on some of their frozen meat-free ranges, so I stocked up on veggie sausages. I spent £23.08 in sains.
Total grocery spend today was £36.93. Which was more than I intended, but then I hadn't seen the frozen offer (it wasn't online when I looked).
I'm off to update my siggie figgie.

As the minimum order for free delivery is now £50.00 I decided to experiment with getting everything from Sainsbugs on Saturday instead of shopping locally as well. The total was £70.82 which is less than I normally spend at the weekend, but the drawback was that I couldn't pick the best use by dates on the fresh stuff or choose the fruit and veg. That said none of it was too bad, but I won't be doing it every week.
I've just spent £24.60 in M&S for things for my stepdaughter's birthday, including chicken kiev, strawberries and a bottle of wine, but that came from a different budget so isn't included in the total below.
£275.87 spent out of £375.00, £99.13 remaining.
My month ends on the 29th so I only have this weekend's shopping to cover out of the £99.13, so I'm hoping to come in on or under budget for the first time in about three months.

Spending for this month is standing at £341.19. I had a surgical procedure last week so DH has been in charge of shopping (and it shows)!

I've spent a total of £123.23 over the last week as I needed basics and also to replenish baking supplies. I shouldn't need too much more before the end of the month, just a few fresh bits so I'm hopeful I can stay under budget.
£233.34/£300

I do keep it in the door, it is so annoying!! I've picked up some long life as turning the temperature down destroyed my tomatoes - not the idea 😂
