Hi all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons,

Have been to T's for the weekly shop as we have a busy day tomorrow and I'd like to keep Sunday free in the hope I can get out in the garden. I did the scan and pack and forgot to scan a box of eggs. I was pulled for a 12 item check and of course the eggs were on the top so I had to have the entire trolley scanned. So embarrassing 😩

We are at a local AmDram production this evening where you take your own drinks and snacks, so got some bits to take with us. DH might be interested in joining the group, so will see what happens later.

BIL has just been round to check a few details re: our en-suite. He starts work on it on Monday. We just need to take out the shower cubicle and loo now. Such messy work but will be worth it.

Dinner tonight is freezer surprise. We have many single portions of meals to use up, so in true MSE-style we will all pick a box and tuck in!

Hope you can get something sorted for your Mum @RedRuby1231 does she receive Attendance Allowance to help with costs of care?

Sorry to hear about your car woes @mehefin - hope the other garage can be helpful. That's so lovely of your new lady friend to offer to make a quilt. I would love to be patient and accurate enough to make quilts but don't think it'll ever happen!
