Ski Accident in France - Legal Cover - Via Travel Insurance or Home Insurance?
Hi,
My daughter broke her leg in a Ski Accident in France. I believe the company that manages the piste is responsible so I would like to start going down the legal route. I was just about to log it with my Travel Insurance as a claim however I have just noticed that my Travel Insurance legal assistance limit is £20,000 (Admiral) whilst my home insurance limit is £100,000 (Hastings Premier) - do I start the claim via Hastings instead due to the higher limit?
Thanks

It would seem sensible to go with Hastings as they have the higher limit. £20k probably wouldn't go far when probably needing legal representation in two countries.

Have you checked the territorial limits of your home insurance? Most will only cover UK based matters
