From a franchised dealer there will be less risk but no guarantees for perfection. Make sure it is actually the dealer though, there are many scams out there for remote sales pretending to be various dealers offering cars at exceptional prices. I bought a car from 250 miles away from main dealer, it was pretty good but still a few minor cosmetic issues I didn't spot in the photos.

Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

That's not actually true, there is now no distinction between a franchised dealer and any other trader. Of course, there are good and bad traders; and good and bad franchises.

Or to put it more simply: some franchises sell cr*p too!
