MCOL Claim form received

We have received a claim for a 2year old parking charge.

We did not receive any initial ticket or reminder, only multiple debt collector invoices.

There has been no admission of who was driving or any correspondance from our side.

The court documents are in my wifes name (registered keeper)

We have done the acnowledgement of service online.

What are our next steps or a valid defence?

The claim is for insufficient paid time, details are sketchy as it was so long ago but it was unclear how to pay and by the time help was gained to buy a ticket it was probably longer than aĺlowed. The ticket covered the time from purchase until departure

Name the private parking company claimant involved and any lawyers too

Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below

Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

I hope that she submitted the AOS online on MCOL, not you ? (There is no we, just her, but you and we can assist her to defend herself )

and it's hard to respond because the terms of the contract (parking sign) are not supplied, explained or pleaded

With an issue date of 31/03/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS after 05/04/26 and before or on 19/04/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 05/05/26
