It's interesting though "Martin says he has the "weird accolade" of being the most scammed face in Britain"

"My name and face have been the subject of scam adverts for many years, I get countless reports every day." 2023

"Martin Lewis has issued an urgent scam warning alongside his latest episode of his Martin Lewis Money Show on ITV1. He warned viewers that they must be careful if they see adverts claiming to be him, following a spate of AI videos in which criminals pretend he is endorsing their products: 2025

And another fake BBC one but again the URL doesn't start with BBC . If you are unsure copy and paste the URL on a word doc or note

The Which review of it makes it sound legit but they do not recommend it due to the very high risk assets.

So I wonder whether the "BBC" clip has any link to the company at all. There's loads of companies that look real and may be real but the fact that Martin seems to be endorsing this really sets off the alarm bells as his name and image is a favourite of the scammers.

    Trading 212 review - Which?

Trading 212 a legitimate company - not the one mentioned in the scam (Trading AI 212).

The scams prey on people peoples' lack of concentration/comprehension whilst reading.

As an aside, that Which article is ludicrous. Just because a platform offers CFDs, it does not mean the platform is a risk. Clearly written by someone who does not know the market, and probably 80% AI generated.

Standard scam operating model, use names of legit companies (or indeed personalities) before leading the punter to the actual scamming site.

In some ways you are falling for it, I can assure you that Trading212 (the online savings and investment company that's regulated by the FCA) has nothing to do with this fake, scam rubbish.

In addition to all the excellent advice above - remember Martin’s mantra - “I DON’T DO ADS”. He painted it on his face once!

re the author of the article = "Megan is a senior researcher and writer at Which?, with a background in data analysis and stats in the public and charity sectors."

So not someone who is an expert of finance/stocks/trading.
