Equifax: Has anyone else had a problem cancelling their subscription?
I wanted to use the Car Loan checker via Equifax as mention and linked to in many of the posts about the recent car loan claims. They clearly state you can join and then cancel anytime within the first 30 days. I'd argue it's not that easy to do and have spent considerable time trying to cancel mine. They even confirmed they'd cancelled in one of the cases I raised, only for a payment to be taken that same day. I called again today asking for a refund and was told that would be made and the cancellation would go through. I'll update if so. But please beware.

I've a free Revolut account and pretty much the only thing I use it for is the 1-time use disposable debit card.
Some sites are wise to this hack but it is often accepted.

I thought the Equifax app was free as ML suggested a few weeks back
I got the app and I think I was never asked for any payment details during the sign up and found old car loans from it.
What did you sign up for ?

I used the Equifax car finance checker and definitely didn't have to sign up for a subscription.
