Smart Parking and DCB Legal

Good day,

Thank you in advance to everyone.

My sister has received a Letter of Claim from DCB for Smart Parking. There is a mention of mediation, and at the request of the vehicle holder, have the rules changed?

Do we need to use the reply link in their letter or wait for another letter? This seems slightly different to a previous claim we had.

Thanks again.

The rules haven't changed, but they are bolder than before

"and at the request of the vehicle holder"

Do you mean they want to know who was driving ? They aleady have the keepers details from the DVLA ….. they are simply phishing and scamming you.

As far as SMART AND DCBL, just read the FAMOUS DCBL DISCONTUNATION THREAD for the not so smart SMART PARKING

Thank you both. I have read the thread and understand I don’t need to reply to the Letter of Claim.

This is the Letter of Claim received.

That is a LoC, so either respond or don't respond, they will issue a claim form in due course, regardless
