ALDI Scarborough
I have received a PCN from Parkingeye, but it doesn't state a charge to keeper nor does it specifically say what the charge is for. It shows photos and times of the vehicle on entry and on exit. On the back of the PCN it says what the charge could relate to, either the vehicle overstayed the time limit or the vehicle was not registered in store. This car park has free parking for 1.5 hours which the vehicle was within. The vehicle has to be registered in store on a tablet, which I did, but no ticket is issued, it just states on screen that it has been recorded, which it did. Where does this leave me with no evidence to prove I entered my details? Could they provide all the entries between the times the car was parked? It has made me doubt that I entered the correct details (such as my wife's registration number), though my wife watched me enter the details and she is convinced that I did in fact put the correct details into the tablet.

The onus is on them to prove everything in county court.
The onus is in you to prove everything at Popla (which is why it's only of use in certain circumstances).
I'd ignore PE for the moment and complain to Aldi and tell them you did not overstay and did correctly register your details and express your disgust.
You could claim a keying error with PE and they are obliged to reduce it to £20. But why should you?

I will therefore follow the advice in the FAQs about complaining to ALDI.
Thanks for the speedy response.

Personally, I would also appeal, suggesting a keypad error must have occurred.

I have used Resolver when complaining to a company before, should I use them in this instance or would it be better just from me?

Resolver is no better than any AI.
Never use AI to actually write a complaint but you could use it to make your version more outcome-focused & timebound.
