EuroCarPark Blue Badge fine

Recently had an event in a hotel over 3 days that uses Eurocarparks to manage their car park. They have a computer inside that you have to put your reg in to pay for your ticket and if you are a blue badge holder it says you're exempt.

On all 3 occasions I entered the car park, scanned in my blue badge in the foyer and it said exempt, then when I was finished at the event I exited.

I've just now received 3 parking fines saying I did not pay, and they are saying I should have scanned my blue badge before exit, not on entry. Surely if I enter and scan my badge which makes me exempt for 24 hours they should not be charging me £100 fine for each occurrence?

I would be grateful for any help on this.
