£4 for lounge access - too good to be true?
Hello,
I can't get my head around this. Wowcher are selling Priority pass membership for £4
Is there any trick? We are planning for overseas travel next month and thought to buy 2 of them for both of us. Then cancel the trip.
We were thinking of buying the "50% off Standard with 2 Lounge Visits Priority Pass-Airport Lounge Membership" option
If we score 2 lounge visits then this is a great deal on £4. I just can't see where the catch is.
First I thought if it's a yearly subscription but can't see any such option.

Most Priority Pass lounges are awful these days. Many are limiting time in lounge, food and alcoholic drinks etc. Depending on where you fly you may be better off in the airport bar.

Aaah so 'selling' a discount code for £4 , so cheeky. Glad I asked here. I was so confused.

Have to agree, all went pear-shaped after Covid.
See all those telly ads for package holidays? The ones where the happy smiley couple and their happy smiley kids are promised lots of lovely extras?
That's Priority Pass lounges that is.

The lounge at Stansted (and I think that there is only one) has to be the worst in the UK. Never again.
Mind you, I was recently in the No. 1 lounge at Gatwick and it was pretty good - though it was midweek and outside of the school holidays so very few families with children around.

Pretty sure the one in the main terminal at STN closed the other month, although I did hear it was being done up and reopening.
There is of course the Emirates lounge on the satellite pier.

Closed at the end of Feb according to this
You can get an £18 bill credit at the Camden bar through Priority Pass which would probably only be enough for a couple of pints.
