Windows Music folder
I have my own hierarchy of folders for my personal files, so I don't need any of the Windows 11 libraries.
When I looked at the Windows Music library, some of my music folders have been put there.
Can I remove whatever is linking my folders to this library?

Are these actual copies of files held in your own libraries or are they 'symbolic' links to the physical files?
There should be a small arrow next to the filename if it's a link.

Open the Music Library properties and remove the location(s) you don't want to be included.

I had thought that the entries in the Music library might be symbolic, but when I tested this by deleting one folder, the folder disappeared from my own set of folders.
Using the Music library properties was successful in removing the entries.
There were only three folders (out of dozens) that were in the Music library. How can I avoid a repetition of this happening?
