In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. You have two points to consider:

1- the planning application - you would want the window removed from any approved plans as any future owner may want to build the extension and install the window - even after the planning approval has lapsed as they can re-submit for planning and precedent has been set for a window in that location. Other issues are access to the window for repair / cleaning as I assume they would need to access your land to facilitate this?

2 - Party wall - Works on or close to a party wall / boundary line will need a Party Wall / Party Fence Wall agreement. As the extension is on the boundary line you will need to agree to a Party Wall / Party Boundary line agreement anyway.
