Dental insurance
my nhs dentist took a tooth out last year and said it wasn’t suitable for a bridge to fill the gap but he could refer me for dental implants which I can’t afford
I’ve since visited a private dentist for a different emergency and asked his opinion, he said that a bridge was perfectly feasible.
Would I be covered under dental insurance for this?
Thoughts please, thank you

Do you already have dental insurance? If so what does the policy say?

If you are asking can I take out insurance now, then the answer is no. If the insurance was in place when the tooth was removed, then probably yes.

Unless its a cash plan type dental cover in which case they often dont have a pre-existing clause however the payout for one incident will always be less than a years premium so only economic if you are going to be making other claims on it.
