Hi everyone,

The drive home yesterday was long and fairly uneventful. Thanks for the tip for the posh services @Gers we decided to keep going until our petrol was almost gone so stopped near Carlisle, then again at Peterborough Services. I did the first and last stretches and we reached home at almost 11pm. I don't particularly like driving in the dark but needs must.

DS1 and DDIL came over this morning. We got them a couple of Highland gifts including a lovely 100% wool blanket which they loved. I then took Mum food shopping, DS2 came with us. I'm feeling very jaded after the drive and not a great nights' sleep, so it was good to have the added company.

Dinner tonight is a quick beef stir fry.

That sounds like a great idea @RedRuby1231 good luck with it. Shame another carer has also left O with his awful mother. Let's hope he's removed into safer surroundings soon.

Good luck with the Yorkshire house sale @snoozer x

I am on a wellness day tomorrow with DSis and a friend. It's a combo of meditation, massage and nutritional advice. I'm really looking forward to it.

Have a good evening all

Coxy
